One day Lo, Mumi and I thought it would be great fun to go boating! I suggested a canoe, but Mumi said "Lets go for the row boat its much more stable and I know how to row" So once on the lake it became very apparent that none of us know how to "row". Trust me its WAAAY harder than it looks. We were laughing so hard that we were asked by fellow boaters to "move along" because the commotion we were making was scaring the fish. Mumi responded with "we are not boat people!!"
I can't remember the last time I laughed that hard.
Next adventure was off to June lake for a day of swimming and sand toys. Perfect day: not too crowded, warm but not too hot, and plenty of scenery and cool refreshing water.
Seriously, I can not think of a prettier place to swim
Then off to ride the gondola up to the top of Mammoth Mountain

And who know there would be SNOW at the top!! Obviously not Mom or I would have dressed my kiddo in shoes not flip flops!! But we made the best of it and had a snowball fight! Here is Mumi and Lo actively throwing a snowball at Mom.

Logan and I took a ride of the trolley and it took us through the Mammoth Lakes basin. We saw lake George, Lake Mamie, Lake Mary and Horseshoe Lake. So awesome and Lo liked the music so much he was dancing the entire time.
I LOVE these pictures! Looks so beautiful, we will have to go next summer too. The rowing and the lake remind me of Norway. Next time you should bring my mother-in-law, she is an expert rower!
